all upcoming holidays i welcome gifts! HA!

1/27 - my day of birth.
2/14 - valentine's day.
3/24 - one year of love.

well, clearly today is productive...
so, last night i watched my big fat greek wedding.
indulged in some 06 sonoma pinot noir...
movie is A+... that wine, not so much.

still adjusting to the non-vaca mode.
yet, welcoming the structure and work back into my life.
so sad to admit.. it really is!

the birthday invites officially made there rounds yesterday!
jan 24th we'll be celebrating!
clearly in honor of mom and amy that day too!
there will be an abundance of balloons and drinking!
come join us!

in job news...
phillip has an amazing interview tomorrow!
how exciting!
he deserves it!

well... perhaps i should head back to doing real work!
then again... alison just mentioned greek food...
that sounds tempting!

for christmas.
i am taking a day to go up to asheville.

and go see the biltmore estate.

its the largest private home in the country.

it was once owned by george vandervilt.

how gorgeous??

yes, also the house from richie rich.

maybe santa will give me a copy of that too!

i haven't been here in years...

but i'm going to show phillip around the house.

then we'll make our way to the winery.

then to the stables and the gardens...

i can't wait.

i wish life was less expensive sometimes...

but i've at least learned...

its stuff like this thats worth it!
